Awareness Raising

Sometimes it is important just to have just an issue known about and remembered for a week or two, while at other times the need for awareness raising will be much more complicated and long term. An organisation might need a message to be known and understood within a particular area or interest group to just attract attention. It might also be necessary at times to inform to affect behaviour and attitudes across a wide population.

Whether it is linked to a product, a project or for public health; awareness raising can be effective in the background to build confidence or it can be at the centre of much bigger campaigns for change.
